All I need is a job that pays

I don't need much, these days even less
Though maybe a little help outta this mess
I'll dig a hole, bring my own spade
All I ask is I get paid
A job can be more than something to do
Sometimes it'll make a man outta you
But what can make you can break you in half
Drag you down when things can go bad
I'll dig a hole - fill it up
I'll dig you another one for free if I fuck it up
I wander round seeking folks who need holes
Where have they all gone? Nobody knows
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier or Spy
If you got some work keep me in mind
